Can Anyone Give Me A List Of Common Spanish Internet Slang?
I have some online buddies in Latin America and they always use these abbreviations/alternate spellings that I get confused with.
For example, what does “tk” stand for? (as in, “Esperame un tk”)
I know that q changes to k, like “quiero –> kiero”
and “me –> em”
Can someone give me a list of common Spanish internet slang please? Your help would greatly be appreciated^^
Thank you!~

I’m not big on IM abbreviations I can think of:
tb – tambien
tp – tampoco
ablaos – hablamos
words ending in ~~te or ~~me can leave out the “e” (like “cuidat” instead of “cuidate”).
ps or pe – pues
amix – amigo/a
Some people will replace “ch” with “x” (as in “muxo” instead of “mucho”) but I think this is very annoying…
*TK—– toque (espera me un toque) in means “esperame un momento”
*TQM—– te quiero mucho
*LK—- loca
*istead of “ca” use “k”
*Cel—- celular
*qndo—- cuando?
*tranquilo—- tranx
*pelicula—- peli
*mensaje—- msj
*saludos—— salu2
*xq—– porque?
*TAD—- te amo demaciado
*dem—– demaciado
*hmbre—- hambre
thats all i can think of for now
