Looking for a quote in Latin about letting go (of past hurt, grudges, etc.) and moving on. Any ideas?

Maybe a translation of “let it go” or “forgive and forget”, or if there is a famous quote that has the same sentiment, that would be great!

Are these good ideas for substitute teaching?

I just learned that I can sub for classes that I have no background in such as secondary Chemistry, Latin, etc.. I can even sub for PE classes if needed. I have some ideas as to what I might want to do with students if I am assigned to a class where I am clueless or at least have little practice in the subject matter. My certification is in Elementary. Please comment after each scenario. Thanks.

1. Secondary Chemistry, Bio, Physics, and the like:
I would like to have students write a few paragraphs (in their own words) on what they have learned so far in their class. I would tell them to not think about this as an assignment but rather to have a chance to reflect on what they’ve accomplished and learned throughout their time in the class PLUS how they feel about the class. The benefits of this are that it an opportunity for them to write and express themselves, and to get them to reflect upon their experiences.

Another idea would be to have them write a letter to their instructor telling them what they appreciate about him or her – a thank you letter. I would gage to class to find out what the overall feeling is toward the teacher.

Or, I could have them teach me and the rest of the class – topics from their coursework. This would be an opportunity for public speaking/teaching (I would give each student 5 minutes or so and have opportunities for writing and gathering their thoughts first). It would also allow them to reinforce what they already know by teaching it.

Or, I could have them get into study groups so that the students having trouble with certain topics could pair up with those who can help them.
I don’t want them to sit there all period doing nothing, but I don’t want to stress them either.
Ideally I would like them to do something that is of value and also to enjoy it!!!

2. PE class – I would like to find a quiet classroom, have the students take off their shoes, and lead them through a hatha yoga session. I would like to bring in music and my portable CD player and turn the lights down for this. I would teach the asansas or poses but would not focus on the religious aspect of yoga. I would keep it to the act of the poses and breathing.
Do I risk getting kicked out of the school for this? I want to take chances and go outside the box and offer the kids something new, but not get in trouble.

I could also take them through basic ballet positions but the boys might not like this too much.
My opinion is that males should be exposed to ballet at least once in their lives but I may by asking too much here. Please bear with me as I am brainstorming here!

These are just some ideas.
If you have any of your own, please share.
Thanks
