What is the best 3rd modern language to learn?

I’m 14, live in London. I’m a native English speaker and I speak fluently in French and know a fair bit of Latin. Languages come quite easily to me and I want to learn a 3rd modern language, something that is different that will help me stand out from the crowd. Depending on how easy it is I may teach myself or might get a tutor. What would be the best language for me?

Which modern language is closest to Latin as it was spoken in Roman Times?

I know that the grammar won’t be the same of course since most modern Romance languages have dropped to case system but in terms of pronounciation (most widely accepted pronounciation) and word derivitives which Romance language most closely relates.

My immediate guesses would be Italian or Spanish.

Thanks.

How different is the modern Latin orthography, compared with when it was still a living language?

Would a Roman understand Latin as it is written today?

Is the way it is written today much different from the way it was written when it was still the living lingua franca of Europe?

Which modern language has most similarities to Latin?

I would personally think it’s a toss up between Italian and Romanian. However, I think Romanian has the edge as it’s retained a lot of the complex, Latin-based grammar that Italian has dropped.

How Does A College Level Latin Or Greek Course Differ From That Of A Modern Language?

I speak English, Spanish, and Italian, and for all of the classes I’ve taken over these, it has been full language immersion from day 1. I can’t imagine the classical languages are like this, especially Latin. So what is a typical class like. Is English spoken or must you speak in the foreign language? What do you do. Any insight into this issue would be appreciated. Also, I’m looking for specifics for Latin vs Greek. Thanks.

Is It Possible That The Latin Language Can Be Revived Into Modern Latin Just Like Modern Hebrew?

I am just curious is it possible or could it happen that Latin can be revived into Modern Latin? just as Hebrew was th only dead language that was revived in Modern Hebrew and Modern Greek its just a thought and I know the official language of Italy today is Italian, I am aware of that and know that. I wish Latin was revived its just disappointing to see a pretty language like Latin to die out as a conversational or spoken language.
