When Is It Appropriate To Use “i.e.” And “e.g.” As Abbreviations Of “for Example” When Writing?

Do they have different meanings or are they interchangable? Also, my guess is that they are both initials for Latin words… bonus “atta boys” or “atta girls” for whomever can enlighten me.

Hungarian language part 1: origin

Most people wonder where the Hungarian language comes from but have no idea. Some germans say its a barbaric language which later became germanized. Slavs say its a mongol language that became slavized. Other slavs say Hungarians did not even speak, all the words are from slavic. Some romanians say it is a mixture of daco-romanian and mongol.
