Why, With Spell Check, Are They So Many Horrendous Misspellings In Here?
I love this site, but it grinds on my mind to read “write” instead of “right “or “your” instead of “you’re”….ad nauseum(Latin-not in spell check). Don’t get me wrong, abbreviations are great, especially creative 1s & I have no problem with dropped apostrophes, but flat out POOR English bothers the H*** out of me. Sorry for the ranting but I really want to Know!

Because 99% of the people that post questions here are totally clueless idiots!!!
I love spelling. I don’t always use the spell check, but sometimes people just like to get their answer out as fast as possible, so they type quickly and think that the spelling won’t matter, that people can still read it. But when I see bad spelling, I get really irritated. Some of my friends get annoyed with me because I constantly point out their spelling mistakes.
I apologize if I myself, have any incorrect spelling here.

Let’s just say that a good spell check leaves a lot to be desired and most people don’t have time to right click and pick the best answer. Which is funny considering the context here.
The spell check doesn’t always pick up the right version of the word. If ‘right’ is spelt ‘write’ in a sentence then spell check thinks it’s right’.
Becuse poeple are idiuts.
You are not alone. It’s a great pity that so many people are so careless. But try not to take it too seriously in this context.
The Yahoo spell check is so useless there may as well not even be one. There are many words it doesn’t recognise, and it is in dire need of an upgrade.
